Trading forex and CFDs carries high risk. Information is educational, not advice.

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 15 August . This policy explains what personal data FXCompare collects, why we collect it, and the rights you have over your data.

Who We Are

FXCompare is a free, independent comparison and education website for forex and CFD brokers, operated by FXCompare (fxcompare.brokersss.com). We help visitors compare brokers, understand trading costs, and learn about regulation. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we handle and why.

What Information We Collect

Information you give us: if you use the contact form on this site, we receive the name, email address and message you submit. We use a third-party form service to receive and forward these messages; your email is used only to reply to you.

Information collected automatically: when you visit, our web server and hosting provider log standard technical data such as your IP address, browser type, device, referring page and the pages you view. We also use affiliate tracking identifiers when you click a broker link, so that a broker can attribute a referral.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

We use a small number of cookies and similar technologies. Strictly necessary cookies keep the site working. We also load fonts from Google Fonts and use affiliate tracking cookies that remember which broker link you clicked. Non-essential cookies are only set after you accept them via the consent banner. You can change your choice at any time using the "Cookie Settings" link in the footer.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to operate and improve the site, to answer your messages, to understand which content is useful, and to measure the performance of our affiliate partnerships. We do not sell your personal data.

Third-Party Processors

We share the minimum data needed with a small number of service providers: our form service (receives contact-form messages), Google Fonts (serves website fonts), and our affiliate partners (such as PipAffiliates, Exness and HFM) who receive click-attribution data. These providers may process data outside your country, including outside the EEA, and are bound by their own privacy terms.

International Data Transfers

Some of the providers above are based in or transfer data to the United States or other countries. Where personal data leaves the EEA, we rely on the providers' own safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses or their certified compliance programs) to protect it.

How Long We Keep Your Data

We keep contact-form messages only as long as needed to reply and to meet legal obligations, after which they are deleted. Server logs are retained for a limited period for security and are then removed. Aggregated, non-identifiable statistics may be kept longer.

Your Rights Under the GDPR

If you are in the EEA, you have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to certain processing, to receive your data in a portable format, and to withdraw consent at any time. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

How to Exercise Your Rights

To exercise any of these rights, or if you have any question about this policy, please use the contact form on this site (the message widget in the bottom-right corner). We will respond within one month. We do not publish a direct email address, so the form is the quickest way to reach our privacy team.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review it periodically.
