Forex Bonuses Explained: Are They Worth It?
Welcome bonuses look generous. The fine print usually decides whether they help or just lock up your money.
Common bonus types
Deposit bonuses (e.g. 50% on top of your deposit), no-deposit bonuses (free credit to start), and loyalty/cashback. The headline number is rarely the usable number.
The strings attached
Most bonuses cannot be withdrawn until you meet a trading-volume requirement (sometimes huge). They may also block withdrawals until 'used'. Read the terms before depositing.
Our view
Treat a bonus as a minor perk, not a reason to pick a broker. Regulation, spreads and execution matter far more. Never deposit more than you would without the bonus just to unlock it.
